The RRB-3L roll forming machine is designed for shaping wheat and wheat-rye doughs.
The machine features a rigid construction with a system of rollers. Since the rotating parts are housed in bearings rather than bushings, maintenance requirements and costs are reduced (no need for lubrication like with machines using bushings, no wear of bushings, easy bearing replacement). Costs for felt cloths are also eliminated.
Clothless machines are not suitable for processing soft doughs like cloth-based roll machines (with soft doughs, the dough may stick to the rollers), and they do not achieve the same yield as cloth-based roll machines.
For processing wholemeal doughs, cloth roll machines are also more suitable. For clothless roll machines, the length of the rolls is adjusted by the thickness of the rolled dough (longer rolls - thinner dough). Therefore, if we want to form longer rolls, we need to set the machine for a thinner dough, which may cause the grains to break and the rolls to tear.
Surface treatment with painting (powder coating) or it can also be delivered in stainless steel.
The roll former can be supplied separately or with a table, including an electric motor, electrical installation, and a stainless steel plate for collecting the shaped rolls.
The roll machine can be demonstrated at your premises or loaned for testing.
